Review Board

An IMAS Review Board was established to oversee the continuous review process for the standards. Each IMAS will be reviewed on a tri-annual basis, but an IMAS can be reviewed at anytime should there be an urgent operational need.

Proposals for new IMAS?

To propose new IMAS or amendments to existing IMAS, please complete the Justification Form (WORD, 56KB) and send it to the Review Board Secretary at the GICHD, Faiz M. Paktian, at f.paktian(at)gichd.org.

• Proposal for amendment of IMAS 09.50 mechanical demining (WORD, 72KB) – accepted,  amended, and published.
• Proposal for the development of an IMAS on information management (WORD, 61KB) – accepted and drafting the IMAS is in progress.
